Chronicles of a Makeup Artist...

PHOTOGRAPHER ||| Mikaela Gauer
STYLIST ||| Sarah Andrijcich
HAIR + MAKEUP ||| Frances Fraser
Recently I took part in a test shoot with a very inspiring photographer and world traveller, Mikaela Gauer. Her site, Pack Light, is her visual diary. It is simply stunning, and documents her adventures around the globe. I was so excited to meet Mikaela after devouring her adventures through her pictures.
The day of the shoot was a good ol' rainy day in Sydney, and by rainy, I really mean stormy. The rain varied between beautiful soft rain drops with bits of sunlight thrown in, and strong, hard rain pouring down with thunder bolts and lightening all around.
We started out in a fabulous apartment in the heart of Sydney's Bondi beach, where Mikaela shot our beautiful model, Bronte, in and around the apartment, as well as the surrounding gardens. We eventually moved out into the weather and shot around North Bondi with our gorgeous model muse, Amy.
